What electric cars do Peugeot have to offer?

With the 2030 ban on new petrol and diesel vehicles accelerating towards us, more drivers are shifting gears toward electric options.

And as battery technology charges ahead, these electric cars just keep getting better and going further.

The French have always excelled at certain things – fine wines, delectable pastries, and cars with that certain je ne sais quoi.

Peugeot has taken their renowned responsive handling, road-hugging grip, and smooth ride, and electrified it to create a line-up that's turning heads across the UK.

Each offers something different, whether you're after a nippy city car or a spacious family SUV. There truly is something for everyone.

But what are they like? Let’s get to know their electric line-up.

Peugeot E-208

E-208: The Electric City Slicker

The E-208 takes everything people love about Peugeot's popular supermini and adds electric power.

Peugeot have recently increased the range of the E-208, with it now achieving a WLTP Comb range of up to 269 miles. This makes it the best range in its segment!

This award-winning, stylish hatchback is perfect for city driving and weekend escapes alike.

Open up the boot and you’ve got yourself 311 litres of space.

That’s not the biggest on offer in the supermini segment – the champion being the Renault Clio and its whopping 395 litres – but it’s notably larger than the Toyota Yaris (286 litres).

Why you might love it:

Compact dimensions for easy parking, distinctive LED "fang" daytime running lights, and a premium-feeling interior that punches above its weight.

Peugeot E-308

E-308: The Sophisticated Electric Hatchback

For those wanting a bit more space, the E-308 delivers a refined driving experience with its aerodynamic design and comfortable cabin. Offering a WLTP Comb range of up to 254 miles, it's ready for whatever your weekly schedule throws at it.

It gets the same 361-litre capacity as the 308 plug-in hybrid (PHEV), which is down on the 412-litre boot a regular Peugeot 308 gets.

It's pretty much the same size as the boot in the MG4, but the CUPRA Born is bigger.

Why you might love it: More boot space than the E-208, a high-tech infotainment system, and that "grown-up" feel while remaining budget-friendly.

Peugeot E-408

E-408: The Distinctive Electric Fastback

Neither a conventional hatchback nor an SUV, the E-408 carves its own path with a unique fastback design. Delivering a WLTP Comb range of up to 248 miles, it balances style and substance perfectly.

The boot on this bad boy makes the E-308 look tiny, with a 454-536 litres of space back there.

Why you might love it: Stand-out design that turns heads, comfortable ride, and a practical boot despite the sloping roofline.

Peugeot E-2008

E-2008: The Compact Electric SUV

Stepping up to SUV territory, the E-2008 gives you a commanding driving position and extra practicality. With a WLTP Comb range of up to 246 miles, it handles both urban environments and longer journeys with ease.

Coming in just under the Kia Niro EV, the E-2008 has 434 litres of space in the boot. Still plenty for all of life’s bits, and then some.

Why you might love it: Higher driving position, rugged styling with a hint of crossover flair, and flexible interior space for small families.

Peugeot E-3008

E-3008: The Family-Friendly Electric Crossover

The all-new E-3008 is Peugeot's mid-size electric SUV offering, combining bold styling with substantial practicality. With its impressive WLTP Comb range of up to 326 miles, range anxiety becomes a thing of the past.

Jump into their new Long Range model and you can get around 435 miles of WLTP Comb range. This is some of the best electric range available in the SUV market.

The boot in the E-3008 jumps up to 520-litres, which is still smaller than most alternatives offer, with only the Kia EV6 having less space at 490 litres.

Why you might love it: Striking fastback design, spacious interior with premium materials, and one of the longest ranges in its class.

Peugeot E-5008

E-5008: The Seven-Seat Electric SUV

Need room for the whole family?

The E-5008 is Peugeot's answer to electric seven-seat motoring. With a WLTP Comb range of up to 339 miles, it's ready for family adventures without frequent charging stops.

Similar to the E-3008, the E-5008 is available as a Long Range model, giving you around 415 miles of WLTP Comb range.

With all seven seats up, you still have 348 litres of space in the boot. But if you fold down the third row, you’re left with 916 litres of space to play with. Perfect for all the accessories that come with having kids.

Fold down the second row of seats as well, then you’re left with a cavernous 2,232 litres. You’ve basically got yourself a sleek and stylish van at this point.

Why you might love it: Flexible seating for up to seven, premium interior environment, and still manages to look stylish despite its practical purposes.

E-Rifter: The Practical Electric MPV

When maximum space is the priority, the E-Rifter delivers with its van-derived practicality.

Offering a WLTP Comb range of around 174 miles, it's ideal for families who need the ultimate in versatility.

There are different configurations, so you can customise the back to suit your needs. You can make more space back there. Or if you need to have more passengers, you’ll have less room.

Specifically, you can have between 775-4000 litres – that’s definitely more than enough space, even with passengers.

Why you might love it: Sliding rear doors for easy access in tight parking spots, configurable interior space, and a no-nonsense approach to family transport.

Which Peugeot EV is right for you?

Whether you're a city dweller dodging parking fines, a parent on school-run duty, or a weekend road tripper, there's a Peugeot EV with your name on it (figuratively – unless you get a private plate, of course).

Want something compact and stylish? The E-208 is your urban ally.

Need to move seven people and a dog? The E-5008 has you covered.

Fancy stretching your legs – and your mileage? The E-3008 Long Range makes light work of long hauls.

Each model has its own personality and perks, but they all share that classic Peugeot DNA: comfort, flair, and surprisingly fun-to-drive handling.

Plus, with PEUGEOT Care, you get up to 8 years or 160,000 km of battery warranty – so you can make the switch to electric with confidence and peace of mind.
