Add a maintenance package to your lease for the ultimate hassle-free motoring

Combine your automotive costs and wave goodbye to unexpected bills pulling on your purse strings.

A maintenance package covers servicing, MOT, and routine wear and tear items, helping you stay on the road and keeping more of your money where you want it – in your wallet.

And not only does it help you budget your vehicle expenses, but it’ll also help maintain the warranty, maximise your enjoyment of your brand-new car, and will ensure it always runs at max efficiency.

Music to our ears, much like the near-silent purr of an electric engine gliding down the road.

What’s included in a maintenance package?

A typical lease maintenance package takes the admin headache (and cost) out of getting your car lease serviced and maintained, and includes:

  • Maintenance and repairs
  • All scheduled servicing (either through the main dealer, or the Premium Independent Network – ensure that OEM and genuine manufacturing parts are used)
  • Tyre replacements due to fair wear and tear
  • Puncture cover excluding sidewall damage
  • Roadside tyre assistance (where possible)
  • MOTs
  • Replacement wear and tear items like wiper blades, batteries, exhausts and brakes
  • Breakdown assistance (including Home Start) for the duration of your contract
  • Warranty assistance

In most cases, you’ll get a courtesy car while your car is being worked on, but this will be provided by the garage on the day of your service, and isn’t done by the policy provider directly.

A courtesy car is subject to availability and garage discretion – but if it isn’t possible, they should be able to offer you a drop off appointment instead.

What does a maintenance package not cover?

Though your maintenance package is comprehensive, there are some bits that won’t be covered. These include:

  • Glass and windscreens
  • Vehicle bodywork damage
  • Accident damage
  • Items that are damaged through driver abuse
  • Damage and replacement resulting from negligence
  • Shoulder and sidewall tyre damage
  • Tyre replacements needed because of reckless driving
  • Misfuelling
  • Lost, or damaged, locking wheel nuts, keys, compressors, and charging leads
  • Flat batteries (unless it's due to a fault, and covered under warranty)

If you exceed your annual mileage, you’ll also be liable for an excess mileage charge. This is charged per mile (on anything over your annual limit), and the price will be clear on your documentation.

How much is a maintenance package?

The monthly cost of your maintenance package will depend on the car lease you’ve chosen.

The cost is set at the start of your contract, so you’ll know what you’re paying before you go signing on the dotted line.

You can find an illustrative monthly payment for any car that you’re interested in on the deal page, underneath the section where you can customise your lease (though this price is subject to change).

It couldn’t be easier.

How do I pay for a car lease maintenance package?

It's as easy as cruising down the English Riviera in the bright sunshine.

You'll be sent your documentation to sign by our team, and once that's been signed, you'll be sent a link to set up your Direct Debit. Once that's all done, you're good to go.

Your maintenance payment will be taken each month so you can drive easy, knowing that you're covered.

Making use of your maintenance package

Unfortunately, even the newest of new cars need maintenance.

Whether for routine care, or if you’ve hit a (literal or metaphorical) bump in the road, and need to get your car sorted out, all you need to do is contact your package provider.

They’ll help you book in the work through one of their approved repairers, so you can get back in the driving seat pronto.

All their details will be provided for you in your documentation, but if you need any help, give our Customer Experience team a call on 01395 200 333, and they’ll point you in the right direction.

Ultimately, a maintenance package helps you to easily budget your monthly automotive costs.

It gives you added reassurance – on top of the standard manufacturer warranty – that your car will be working in optimum condition without breaking the bank.
